Cause: Overload I2t comes when the power unit has experienced an overload condition based on the current and the duration of the overload.
f30005 fault in siemens drive indicates a motor overload based on the I²t (current squared times time) protection model. This is a thermal model that simulates motor heating and trips to protect the motor from overheating.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Reduce the continuous load.
- Check the motor and power unit rated currents.
- Ensure the mechanical load is within the motor's and drive's specifications.
- Confirm that the motor's rated current and power are compatible with the drive's ratings.
- Check the motor terminal box for correct wiring according to the motor and drive manuals.
