Cause: Current controller output limited comes when the drive's current controller has reached its output limit. This fault also comes when motor not connected or motor contactor open.

f7410 fault in siemens drive indicates "Current controller output limited". This means the drive has detected a situation where it's trying to output current to the motor, but the actual current flow is zero, and this condition persists for longer than a defined time.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Follow these steps to resolve problem:

  • Connect the motor or check the motor contactor.
  • Check the motor parameterization and the connection type (star-delta).
  • Check the DC link voltage (r0070).
  • Check the power unit.
  • Activate the "flying restart" function (p1200)
