Cause : DC link overvoltage comes when the voltage in the DC link, which is the internal connection between the rectifier and inverter, is higher than the acceptable limit.
An F006 fault in Siemens Masterdrive indicates a DC link overvoltage issue. This means the voltage in the DC link, which is the internal connection between the rectifier and the inverter, is higher than the acceptable limit.
Below table show: Line voltage, DC voltage range & Shutdown value:
- 200 V - 230 V I 270 V - 310 V I appr. 410 V
- 380 V - 480 V I 510 V - 650 V I appr. 820 V
- 500 V - 600 V I 675 V - 810 V I appr. 1020 V
- 660 V - 690 V I 890 V - 930 V I appr. 1220 V
To correct the fault follow these steps:
- Check the supply voltage or input DC voltage.
- Check the line voltage (AC-AC) or the input direct voltage (DC-AC). Compare value with P071 (Line Volts)
- Increaase P464 Decel Time.
- The converter operates in the regenerative mode without regenerative possibility.
