Cause : DC link overvoltage comes when the voltage in the DC link has exceeded the permissible level due high input voltage or hardware issue in drive.

An F010 fault code on a Siemens Masterdrive indicates a DC link overvoltage. This means the voltage in the DC link has risen above the permissible threshold.

1. Check the supply voltage.
2. Check the braking resistor.
3. Converter operates regeneratively without a feedback possibility.
4. Braking unit must be set to the lower response threshold (673 V)
