Cause : BICO manager fault comes when a fault has occurred during the softwiring of binectors and connectors. The bico manager is responsible for establishing connections between internal signals (binectors) and external control signals (connectors) within the drive. 

F044 fault in siemens master drive indicate an BICO manager fault. This means an issue with the softwiring functionality within the drive. 

1. Störwert r949: >1000 : Fault during softwiring of connectors >2000 : Fault during softwiring of binector.
2. Voltage OFF and ON.
3. Factory setting and new parameterization.
4. Replace the board.
