Cause : Gating Calculation Time comes when the calculating time in the gating unit computer is not sufficient. The gating signal is a digital control signal that enables or disables the operation of other functions in the drive based on specific conditions.

The Siemens Masterdrive fault code F047 indicate "Gating Calculation Time". This means an issue with the gating signal processing time within the drive.

1. Replace CU (-A10), or replace the unit.
2. In case of synchronous motors (P095 = 12): Pulse frequency set too high (P340 > 2 kHz)
