Cause : Ground fault comes when there is a ground fault or a fault in the power section. During the ground fault test, a current flows from the phase in which a valve has been triggered, the overcurrent comparator has responded, or a UCE monitoring has responded in a phase in which a valve has been triggered.

The F103 fault in siemens master drive indicate an Ground fault. This means there is an unintended connection between an electrical circuit and the ground, which can cause significant issues such as equipment damage, electrical shock.

  1. Check the motor including feeder cable for ground faults.
  2. If there is no ground fault, check the power section for defective valves which remain conductive.
