Cause : BICO - Interconnection cannot be established comes when a PROFIdrive telegram has been set (p0922)An interconnection contained in the telegram was not able to be established.

If you're encountering an error stating that "Interconnection cannot be established" with your Siemens G120 drive, it typically indicates a communication issue between the drive and the controller or programming device. Here are steps to troubleshoot and address this problem:

  1. Check Communication Settings: Verify that the communication settings (baud rate, parity, stop bits, etc.) between the drive and the controller/programming device are configured correctly. Ensure they match the settings specified in the drive's documentation.

  2. Inspect Cables and Connections: Examine the cables and connections between the drive and the controller/programming device. Ensure they are properly connected and not damaged. Try using different cables to rule out any issues with the existing ones.

  3. Verify Network Stability: If you're using network-based communication (such as Ethernet), ensure the network connection is stable and reliable. Check for network congestion, interference, or other issues that might affect communication.

  4. Update Firmware/Software: Ensure both the drive's firmware and the software used for communication are up-to-date. Siemens may release updates to address communication issues or improve compatibility. Check for available updates and install them if necessary.

  5. Check Drive Status LEDs: The status LEDs on the Siemens G120 drive can provide clues about communication errors or other issues. Refer to the drive's documentation to understand the meaning of different LED patterns and troubleshoot accordingly.

  6. Use Diagnostic Tools: Siemens provides diagnostic tools that can help diagnose communication issues with G120 drives. Use these tools to monitor communication and identify any errors or problems.
