Cause : Defect in a monitoring channel comes when cross-comparing the two monitoring channels, the drive detected a difference between the input data or results of the monitoring functions and initiated a STOP F. One of the monitoring functions no longer reliably functions - i.e. safe operation is no longer possible. If at least one monitoring function is active, then after the parameterized timer has expired, the message C01701 "SI Motion: STOP B initiated" is output.

The monitoring clock cycles in both channels and the axis types should be checked for equality and the same setting applied if necessary. If the error continues to be identified, increasing the monitoring clock cycles may resolve it.
