Cause : Motor Overheat Alarm (PTC Input) comes when the motor overheat signal to analog input terminal A1, A2 exceeded the alarm detection level. Detection requires multi-function analog input H3-02 or H3-10 be set to E.

  1. Check the size of the load, the accel/decel times, and the cycle times.
  2. Decrease the load.
  3. Increase the acceleration and deceleration times.
  4. Adjust the preset V/f pattern.
  5.  This reduces load tolerance at low speeds.
  6. Check the motor rated current.
  7. Enter the motor rated current to parameter as indicated on the motor nameplate.
  8. Ensure the motor cooling system is operating normally.
  9. Repair or replace the motor cooling system.
