Cause : Motor Overheat Fault (PTC Input) comes when the drive stops operation according to the setting of L1-04 due to overheating of motor as measured by motor thermistor

  1. Check the size of the load, the accel/decel times, and the cycle times.
  2. Decrease the load.
  3. Increase the acceleration and deceleration times (C1-01 through C1-02).
  4. Adjust the preset V/f pattern (E1-01 through E1-13).
  5. Check the motor rated current.
  6. Enter the motor rated current to parameter as indicated on the motor nameplate.
  7. Ensure the motor cooling system is operating normally.
  8. Repair or replace the motor cooling system.
