Cause : Short Circuit/IGBT Failure- If your Yaskawa D1000 drive is indicating a "Short Circuit" fault, it means that a short circuit has been detected in the drive or its connected components. A short circuit occurs when there is an unintended connection between two points with different potentials, resulting in excessive current flow.
- Overheating caused damage to the motor or the motor insulation is not satisfactory.
- Measure the motor insulation resistance, and replace the motor if there is electrical conduction or unserviceable insulation.
