Unidrive Classic was indeed a series of AC drives from Control Techniques, but it has now been superseded by the more modern Unidrive M series.
Overview
The Unidrive Classic series is a universal AC/Servo drive that was manufactured by the Control Techniques business unit of Emerson Industrial Automation. Introduced in 1993, the Unidrive Classic was manufactured through 2008. The Unidrive Classic series of drives were made available in 230 V and 460 V ratings up to 1,600 HP. Various customer fit option modules were available for additional network communications, feedback and control.
