The Schneider Lexium LXM52 servo drives are a series of standalone servo drives designed for use with the PacDrive 3 automation platform.
Lexium 52 series are well suited for economical configuration of servo drive solutions with self-contained single axes, with their integrated 3-phase power supply, embedded digital I/O, available in five power levels from 6 to 72 A.
- They can be controlled via Sercos with the PacDrive 3 controller Eco and Pro series: they match in particular with the smaller LMC Eco controllers, when only few servo axes are required.
Features
- Fully integrated in PacDrive system and Ecostruxure Machine Expert.
- Electronic name plates allow controllers to recognise and configure the drives automatically.
- Integrated safety functions reduce design times and make it easier to comply with safety standards.
- Hardwired invert enables safety input (STO), internal braking resistor and internal EMC filter.
- Overload capacity: high peak current (up to 4 times the continuous current).
- Power density: the compact size of the servo drives offers maximum efficiency in a small space.
- Compliance with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.
- Power levels: from 1.5 to 24 A continuous current and 6 to 72 A peak current.
- Power ratings between 0.4 and 7 kW (0.536 and 9.383 hp).
- External braking resistors, when the servo motor has to be braked frequently.
- Additional EMC input filters to reduce conducted emissions on the line supply below the limits of standard IEC/EN 61800-3 edition 2, category C2 or C3.
- Line chokes for improved protection against overvoltages to reduce harmonic distortion of the current.
Dynamic, highly efficient servo motors
- Lexium SH3 is dynamic in its performance, with a higher power density of up to 9000 rpm. It features different flange dimensions, setups, and an additional connection.
- Lexium MH3 is available in four flange series designed for medium inertia, high-load uses, and small-sized machines operating up to 6000 rpm.
- Lexium SHS stainless steel is designed with a high-torque output, featuring one motor cable for easier installation and maintenance. This makes it perfect for use in Food and Beverage and Pharmaceutical settings.
