WEG SSW06 series soft starters are designed to provide smooth starting and stopping for three-phase induction motors. Equipped with a smart operating interface, often with both LED and LCD displays, for easy parameter setting and monitoring.
Features
The control of the voltage applied by the SSW06 to the motor by adjusting the firing angle of the thyristors provides smooth starts and stops. By properly setting the variables, the obtained torque is adjusted to the load requirement, ensuring the minimum necessary starting current.
The SSW06 soft-starters feature a microprocessor, are totally digital, incorporate state-of-the-art technology and are designed to ensure the best performance in the start and stop of induction motors, being a complete, low-cost solution. The operating interface also enables easy parameter setting, facilitating the start-up and operation. In addition, the built-in Pump Control function enables effective pump control, preventing thus the water hammer, and the torque control function enables accelerations and decelerations with linear speed ramp.
