A1108 / F1109 Slot A enc. B cable disconnection Encoder channel B signal is not detected correctly. fault in WEG CFW900 Drive
These codes indicate a Slot A Encoder Channel B Cable Disconnection. This means the drive lost the secondary positioning pulse signal from the encoder.
Cause:
- Broken or disconnected signal cable.
- Encoder connection error.
- Encoder has no power supply.
Note: This check can be disabled by setting parameter C5.n.6.2 (where n is the slot index where the accessory is installed).
Remedy:
Verify the physical and electrical integrity of the encoder channel B cabling. Check terminal connections and verify the encoder auxiliary power supply voltage.
