F233 fault in WEG CFW900 Drive indicates No Power Supply on the CAN Interface. This means the CAN network collapsed due to a missing 24V external power supply at the connector.
Cause:
It actuates when the CAN interface is powered and lack of power supply to the interface is detected.
- CAN interface without power supply between pins 1 and 5 of the connector.
- Power cables switched or reversed.
- Poor contact on the CAN interface cable or connector.
Note: Measure if there is voltage within the allowed range between pins 1 and 5 of the CAN interface connector.
Remedy:
Check external 24 Vdc supply is active and connected correctly to pins 1 and 5. Verify cable polarity.
