This means that if a zero mark is missing, depending on the pair generation, this cannot result in a fault and also has no effect in the system.
Remedy:
- Check that the encoder cables are routed in compliance with EMC.
- Check the plug connections.
- Check the encoder type (encoder with equidistant zero marks).
- Replace the encoder or encoder cable.
