Cause : Short circuit comes when a short circuit is detected in the drive or in the motor connected to the drive or IGBT supply has detected short circuit.
The AE03 fault code on an ABB ACS880 drive indicates IGBT supply has detected short circuit.
- Check supply cable.
- Check there are no power factor correction capacitors or surge absorbers in supply cable.
