A7CA warning in ABB DCS880 drive indicates DDCS controller communication error. This means cyclical communication between DDCS controller and drive is lost or there is no communication at all. The drive is waiting for the very first dataset.

1. Check the status/settings of the DDCS controller.
2. Check the adapters between DDCS controller and drive.
3. Check the setting of 20.01 Command location.
4. Check the settings of group 60 DDCS communication, 61 D2D and DDCS transmit data and 62 D2D and DDCS receive data.
5. Check the fiber optic cable connections.
