Warning /Alarm 14 in danfoss VLT FC360 drive : Earth (Ground) Fault - comes when there is current from the output phase to ground, either in the cable between the drive and the motor, or in the motor itself. The current sensors detect the ground fault by measuring current going out from the drive and current going into the drive from the motor. Ground fault is issued if the deviation of the 2 currents is too large. The current going out of the drive must be the same as the current going into the drive.

1. Remove power to the drive and repair the ground fault.
2. Check for ground faults in the motor by measuring the resistance to ground of the motor cables and the motor with a megohm-meter.
3. Reset any potential individual offset in the 3 current sensors in the drive. Perform a manual initialization or perform a complete AMA. This method is most relevant after changing the power card.
