Cause : Overcurrent trip during constant speed comes when the abrupt fluctuations in the load or abnormal load conditions. The inverter output current exceeds the rated current during constant-speed operation, the protection circuit is activated and the inverter trips.

"Err04" fault in inovance MD310 drive indicate "Overcurrent trip during constant speed". This means the drive is drawing more current than it is rated for while operating at a steady speed.

  1. Check the load.
  2. Check the input power source.
  3. Choose higher capacity drive.
  4. Check the encoder and its wiring.
