Cause : Measured resistance has exceeded the parameter range comes when the value being used for motor stator resistance is too high or that an attempt to do a test involving measuring motor stator resistance has failed.

  1. The maximum for the stator resistance parameters is generally higher than the maximum value that can be used in the control algorithms.
  2. If the value exceeds (VFS / v2) / Full Scale Current Kc (11.061), where V FS is the full scale DC bus voltage then this trip is initiated.
  3. Check that the value that has been entered in the stator resistance does not exceed the allowed range.
  4. Check the motor cable / connections.
  5. Check the integrity of the motor stator winding using a insulation tester.
  6. Check the motor phase to phase resistance at the drive terminalsCheck the motor phase to phase resistance at the motor terminals.
  7. Ensure the stator resistance of the motor falls within the range of the drive model.
  8. Select fixed boost mode (Pr 05.014 = Fixed) and verify the output current waveforms with an oscilloscope.
  9. Replace the motor.
