Cause : Tuning Parameters Wrong comes when the drive's tuning parameters are set incorrectly. These parameters are crucial for the drive's performance, controlling factors like acceleration, deceleration, and current limits.

"Err2" fault in parker AC10 drive indicate "Tuning Parameters Wrong". This means an issue with the motor tuning parameters that have been set incorrectly or are not suitable for the connected motor.

Steps to Resolve the Fault:

  1. Check Motor Parameters:

    • Verify that the motor parameters, such as rated voltage, rated current, base frequency, and speed, are correctly set according to the motor's nameplate data.
  2. Auto-Tuning:

    • Perform an auto-tuning process if your drive supports it. This process helps the drive to automatically adjust and set the correct tuning parameters for the motor.
    • Ensure that the motor is not coupled to any load during auto-tuning for accurate results.
  3. Manual Tuning:

    • If auto-tuning does not resolve the issue or is not available, manually adjust the tuning parameters such as proportional gain, integral gain, and derivative gain (if applicable) to match the motor's characteristics.
  4. Reset Parameters:

    • If you suspect that the parameters have been inadvertently altered, you can reset the drive to factory settings and then re-enter the motor parameters.
  5. Update Firmware:

    • Ensure that the drive's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, a firmware update can fix bugs or improve compatibility with different motors.
  6. Check Connections:

    • Verify all motor connections to ensure they are secure and correctly wired. Poor connections can lead to improper tuning and fault errors.
