Cause : Axis unknown comes when an axis which does not exist was detected in the decoded NC block. A logical name (X, Y, Z, A, B, C) must be assigned to each axis with machine data 2 (axis assignment). Only these logical axis names can be used in the NC block.

These errors cannot normally occur, since the logical axis names are verified when the NC blocks are entered.

• Correct the NC block.
