KEB COMBIVERT R6 Drive is a regenerative drive system designed to efficiently manage energy in applications with frequent braking or deceleration. Unlike traditional braking resistors that dissipate excess energy as heat, the R6 captures this energy and feeds it back into the power grid.
The R6 is a compact and cost-effective power supply and regeneration unit for industrial requirements. The mains-driven technology provides an unregulated, mains-dependent DC voltage for the DC supply.
Highlights
- A compact and cost-effective solution for the centralised supply and release of generated energy
- Mains-driven power supply and regeneration unit
- Can be used for the DC supply of several drives
- High overload and regeneration in continuous operation
- Can be combined with harmonic filters to ensure good network quality and reduced reactive power
- Replaces braking resistors, reducing the risk of fire
- Possible to operate several units in parallel
- Also suitable for inverters made by third-party manufacturers
