Parker TPD-M is a series of compact, multi-axis servo drives designed for applications requiring coordinated motion control. TPD-M is a space-saving multi-axis servo drive system where each drive module can control up to three servo motors. The system configuration consists of a common DC bus power supply and multiple TPD-M drive modules, connected through DC bus bars. The drive modules are available as one, two or three axis versions, with output power ratings of up to 20kVA, making the system very flexible.
Features
TPD-M has been developed for all applications where multiple drives are normally used and gives both OEMs and end users the opportunity to reduce build, configuration and operating costs, while boosting productivity and profitability. Motion control functionality is performed by means of EtherCAT Real Time CoE (CAN over Ethernet) communication, CAN / CANopen DS402 communication. TPD-M drives can also control induction motors with feedback or sensorless in V/f mode.
- Compact Design: The TPD-M integrates up to three servo drives into a single housing, saving valuable space in your control cabinet.
- Modular System: The system comprises a common DC bus power supply (PSU) and multiple TPD-M modules, available in one, two, or three-axis versions. This modularity provides flexibility and scalability for your application.
- Cost-Effective: By integrating multiple drives into one unit, the TPD-M reduces purchasing and operating costs.
- Simplified Wiring: With fewer components and connections, wiring is simplified, reducing installation time and potential errors.
- Energy Efficiency: The common DC bus allows for energy exchange between drives, recovering braking energy and reducing overall power consumption.
- Versatile Feedback Options: Supports a wide range of feedback devices, including resolvers, encoders (incremental, absolute), and Hall sensors.
- Communication Interfaces: Offers CANopen as standard, with EtherCAT as an option, ensuring compatibility with various control systems.
- Common DC bus connection for energy exchange between drives
- Hiperface DSL feedback® with reduced cabling – only one cable connection between drive & motor
- Removable SD card
- Safety Technology (STO)
- CE + UL/cUL Listed
