A154 alarm in WEG CFW900 Drive indicates a Control Internal Air Overtemperature. This means the ambient air around the control circuitry is too hot, risking electronic component failure.
Cause:
Control circuit high temperature alarm.
- High ambient temperature around the inverter (>50 °C) and high output current.
- Locked or defective fan.
- Inverter heat sink too dirty.
Note: The alarm can be disabled by setting C7.5.1.
Remedy:
Check cooling fan status, clean heatsink, and improve room airflow. Use C7.5.1 to adjust alarm behavior if desired.
