Cause : PANEL LOSS comes when the drive has lost communication with the connected control panel or drive is in local control mode.
The A2008 code indicates a "Panel Loss Alarm" on your ABB ACS550 drive. This means that the drive has lost communication with the connected control panel.
To correct check:
- Communication lines and connections.
- Parameter 3002 PANEL COMM ERR.
- Parameters in Group 10: START/STOP/DIR and Group 11: REFERENCE SELECT (if drive operation is REM).
