How can resolve problem 2330 Earth leakage Fault in ABB ACS880 Drive ?
Cause : Drive has detected load unbalance typically due to earth fault in motor or motor cable.
1. Check there are no power factor correction capacitors or surge absorbers in motor cable.
2. Check for an earth fault in motor or motor cables by measuring the insulation resistances of motor and motor cable.
3.Try running the motor in scalar control mode if allowed.(See parameter 99.04 Motor control mode.)
Check drive rectifier & IGBT using multimeter.
Check wiring.
Check drive hardware using multimeter.
@click2electro We are having this issue in several new drives, there are no power factor correction capacitors or surge absorbers in motor cable, we megged the cables and motor and no issues, can you advise in more detail the steps you referred to as:
(1) Try running the motor in scalar control mode if allowed.(See parameter 99.04 Motor control mode.)
(2) Check drive rectifier & IGBT using multimeter.
(3) Check wiring (is this internal wiring, if so anything specific to check and I assume we are looking for loose connections?).
(4) Check drive hardware using multimeter (What to check?)
(5) Are there any drive settings that could be set incorrectly?

@abdelaty-atef what is condition of fault coming continuously or come after run command.
Please share following details:
1. What is the condition of fault coming continuously or come after run command ?
2. Rating of drive ?
3. You change any hardware in drive ?
4. Voltage between neutral and earth ?
